One thing you will notice about the songs in the album is the presence of a lot of background vocalization. Oohs and aahs and mms and stuff. I thinkthe human voice no matter how it is present provide a strong element in music. If you remember the song "Rasaathi" in Thiruda Thiruda by ARR, it is pretty much all vocals. I think ARR used some kind of subtle bass but other than that it all seemed pure vocals. And what a song it was. I really look forward to doing a song like that. In the song Kadal, there is a play of vocals in the second interlude. Not so bad.
All the male vocals were recorded by me with a lot of pain and practice.
All the female vocals were recorded by Arthi.
