Nikhil was a referral from a referral from a referral. He turned out to be an 18 year old who had just finished high school. I invited Nikhil home to do the flute recording. This kid is bright, incredibly talented and above anything passionate about music. He came in with his arsenal of flutes and lutes. We had a blast. For the ending of Neela Raavu, I gave him the free reign. The ending of that song was supposed to be short but Nikhil blew my mind with his rendition of Raga Hamsanaadam and I kept it all.
